Lake Wynonah Athletic Group
Meeting Minutes: February 2, 2011
Meeting #5
Meeting Minutes: February 2, 2011
Meeting #5
The meeting was called to order by Chair, J. Stricker at 7:05
PM.
Attendance: J. Stricker, D. Stricker, D. Tyson, B. Tyson, T. Stank, M. Kubilus, B. Richie
Approval of Minutes: The minutes were approved for January 2011 meeting on a motion by B. Tyson and seconded by D. Dtricker.
Treasurer’s Report:
D. Stricker stated an amount of $236 remains in the LWAG account. A print out will be submitted to the Lake Wynonah Business Office. A discussion with regards to the required monthly expenditure to avoid fees took place. This will be investigated.
Old Business:
A. A review of the services of Pretzel City Sports was presented by J. Stricker. The cost
for services would be approximately $500 for next year’s Turkey Trot. This would
afford LWAG the possibility of managing the anticipated increase in participants. The
motion to vote of this was tabled awaiting an update from B. Miller regarding services
and cost of MogoRun services. Pretzel City Sports would greatly improve the
exposure of the Turkey Trot.
B. A review of the January LWAG To Do List took place. A post February To Do List will
summarize items/actions yet to be completed.
New Business
A. Leap in the Lake event: March 20, 2011 at 12 noon at the Marina. A discussion of
duties took place and jobs were assigned. March’s meeting will finalize all necessary
assignments for the event. A Duties for Leap in the Lake 2011 handout will be
presented at this meeting. Registration/waiver forms are completed and ready for
distribution.
B. Valentine’s Day Dinner at the Lodge: a request was made of LWAG to sell desserts as
a fundraiser for this dinner. Acceptance requires volunteers to bake desserts and be
present to serve them as well. Refer to the LWAG Facebook page to volunteer. It
appears as if, as of this date, that baking volunteers are sufficient at this time yet
those to serve are needed. This is scheduled for Friday, February 11, 2011.
C. Neighborhood Clean-Up Event: A discussion revolved around the need and timeliness
of this event. More details will be forthcoming.
D. Prudential Realtors was suggested by D. Stricker as a possible sponsor of an LWAG
event. More details to follow.
Next Meeting: March 2, 2011 at 7:00 PM in Business Office
Adjournment: The meeting ended at 8:08 PM on a motion by B. Richie, seconded by B. Tyson
